John Atkinson Grimshaw considered

Grimshaw was a 19th century artist who created works that were similar in subject to that of his peer artists, but did so in a fashion that was unique.  He used a palette of color that is both surreal and enchanting.  The night looks magical, enchanted even, and the images of faeries are perfectly colored, and look at home.

Modern artists have their digital palette, the past artists to swipe and homage from, but Grimshaw created his work with only his outlook, talent, and palette to create.  Look into his work and enjoy.
