A gallery of art to seek out in Japan: Gallery Asakano

            THE GALLERY ASAKANO

WORDS from the owner

My gallery sells the same quality works as those in Ginza at a lower price than other galleries. This is because I want as many people as possible to find works that they like, in Japan, there is an image that it is too expensive to enter an art gallery. However, there is a wish that you can come and see it casually so that you can enjoy art.

My gallery handles a wide range of oil paintings, Japanese paintings, prints, and ceramics. In particular, we are focusing on the internationally acclaimed works of Kiyoshi Saito. Kiyoshi Saito had a good relationship during his lifetime. As an art dealer, he was very indebted. Introducing his work is like giving back.

The Kiyoshi Saito Museum is located in Yanaizu, Fukushima Prefecture. His work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and others.  The other day, a tourist from America bought Kiyoshi Saito's work as a souvenir.

I want as many people as possible to be energized through art, and I want them to enjoy it casually. I want to provide a space that enriches the mind even if you don't have any knowledge of painting.
